A’s to shift focus to Warm Springs site

From Tri-City Beat: A’s to shift focus to Warm Spings site (more and more heated discusion there);

Looks like the A's PR team is up and kicking. There are more organized comments and activities from pro-staium camp in many online blogs. The A's hold a few closed-door invitation-only small group meetings. But they continue to refuse to have any public town hall meetings. (and they claim they reach out to the community?)

Are they following the proper EIR process?

  1. Yes they are. As far as Warm Springs is concerned, certification of the current EIR does not mean they can start building. A project-level EIR or supplement would also have to be certified first.

  2. Hey, I'm trying to provide information here. You don't need to be so antagonistic, NoAs.

  3. Hi, ML, I was referring the "comments" on many online blogs by the pro-stadium camp. I'm just reporting what's happening now. As far as I can see, the ML blog is trying to do what's the best for the A's. And I think you are pretty neutral on Fremont site (at least on your blog post). The ML blog has the most comprehensive fact/data and very good analysis. ML, thank you again. Your blog is a great resource.

  5. Everything is a lie. Alternative location Warm Springs become a primarily location without public notice and hearing. EIR was not focus on Warm Springs but why traffic meters are around us? We are being fool around!

  6. Where's Wasserman? He'd sell out our community for an A's Hotdog.
